The Pug Palace (also known as "Mimi Pugs"), was founded by ozfortress players Mimi and Dingathy. The Pug Palace was a short lived Discord PUG Organisation that hosted games for players of all divisions in the Oceania region, primarily within the ozfortress and Asiafortress community. The Pug Palace strove for a "No-Restrictions" approach to it's community which set itself apart from other servers in the Oceania region, such as Noob Pugs, which commonly aims to lower the level of skill in it's community by placing heavy restrictions on players who are not beginners.
With that being said there were minor restrictions placed on players from High-Premier Divisions to keep things more balanced. Restrictions on these players were usually a ban on their most played combat oriented class which means they were not entirely combat locked and were able to enjoy all other classes. The Pug Palace was an aid to Oceania players looking to improve, make friends, and enjoy what Competitive Sixes has to offer.
As the Oceania competitive Team Fortress 2 scene at the time seemed to have less and less places for people to enjoy pugs without restrictions almost causing a divide amongst players of each Division, The Pug Palace aimed to bridge that gap and form a community where all players from all backgrounds and skill levels could come together to enjoy pugs in an inviting atmosphere.
